About me
'My art is not a decoration, it is a catalyst for presence, expansion and a portal to the source'

From an early age, I was always fascinated by the little things: logarithmic spirals inside flowers or the sensuous forms of pebbles in a riverbed, I sensed an underlying intelligence and presence shaping our world—an organizing energy that permeated it all. Over time, I came to understand this as a deeper force that flows through us too, one that, when tapped into, can elevate how we experience our life. And my connection to this emerged as my creative expression: it became my art.

As a child, I was drawn toward the creative subjects like arts and humanities, leaving science and mathematics in the shadows, but I was unaware that these two worlds would later converge and become so integral to my art. What began as a passion of creative energy evolved into a way of working that blends perception, experimentation and system-based thinking with light emitting technologies, and it was this synthesis that became my art: exploring energy, space and transformation. Could spaces become like a living thing? Could paintings change and transform literally in front of the viewer?

My practice evolved largely outside the conventional settings, and I relished that. While I did study at the Australian National University and completed my degrees like most of my friends, I ultimately felt compelled to step beyond those institutional boundaries to see what else was out there and also, what was inside me. Through a turn of fate that allowed me to paint on the streets of Newtown in Sydney, I met my first mentor when I started to create art there. He was painting live on the streets with me and said something that I will never forget to this day: Tommy, you must let go! That un-locked something in me. Those early experimental years taught me to trust my gut, to take risks, and learn through action- synthesizing mind, body and spirit.

Today, as I mature my art practice I continue to work from a variety of studio spaces, from multi-level carparks to apartment balconies. I kept the energy of creation alive anywhere I worked. Deep down I love to create new things, I'm constantly collaborating with architects, designers, cultural institutions, global partners, creatives and thought leaders in various industries.
My work has evolved into immersive, light-driven environments across public, commercial and private spaces around the world. I use my art not as decoration but as a catalyst for presence, expansion, and a portal to the source.

Welcome to my world.
