Heaven & Earth, Griffith residence-Photographed by Tommy Balogh
Heaven & Earth /commissioned artwork
Heaven and Earth was commissioned as a full-height, 2.4-metre feature artwork for an ultra-minimal residential interior in Canberra. Conceived as a calibrated focal point, the work was designed to support the architectural intent of the space, providing presence and cohesion without overpowering the surrounding materials or form.

Developed in close response to the client brief, the artwork layers oceanic fluidity, mineral density and subtle cosmic movement to create depth and material resonance. While front-lit, the work incorporates light-reactive pigments and translucency, allowing it to activate gently under changing lighting conditions. Heaven and Earth demonstrates how a single, precisely tuned artwork can unify architecture, atmosphere and experience through one major art piece.
