This is Portal Number 5 from the blockbuster 'Portals beneath the City exhibition in partnership with Blackbird Bar in the City. This piece was created as part of the rare 'spark series' Spark pieces mimic spin paintings because of the explosion outwards, but whats interesting about these is the layering of paint media. When activated by fading coloured light (not only UV), a pulsing/breathing quality is created which adds a unique dimension to these works.
